Our Story

How it all began

W.L.R.A Cleaning Services started on January 16, 2024 — not with a grand business plan, but with a simple need.

Nicole had just completed her Personal Banker training with Westpac. She was ready to start her career, but when a nearby branch closed and staff were transferred, there wasn't a position available for her. With a young family at home, she needed something flexible — a way to bring in income while still being there for our kids.

So she started cleaning. A few jobs here and there while the kids were in daycare. Nothing fancy — just honest, thorough work.

Word spread. Clients kept coming back. And what started as a side hustle quickly became something much bigger.

Then Luke joined

Meanwhile, I (Luke) was working as a multi-site manager in hospitality. Long hours, high pressure — the usual. But I was watching Nicole build something special.

The business took off faster than either of us expected. More clients, more bookings, more demand than one person could handle. When the hospitality business decided to restructure and run things themselves, I made a decision.

I didn't go back.

Instead, I joined Nicole. Now we work side by side — husband and wife, building a family business we're genuinely proud of.
